When it comes to the Grammy Awards, Katy Perry’s musical-note-printed gown is the ultimate outfit choice. Some may call it cliché or kitschy, but we think it’s the perfect fit for a music awards show. Besides, who else could rock it like Katy? Check out the gown below as seen on the Valentino Spring 2014 couture catwalk:
During Paris Fashion Week in January 2014, Valentino showcased a couture fashion collection featuring gowns with musical notes printed onto them. One such gown was worn by Katy Perry, who added her own quirky personality to the look, giving it a unique twist from its original ethereal runway vibe.
The outfit worn by Katy Perry features musical notes as part of its design. Despite its overall appeal, there were a few noticeable flaws present.
Katy Perry looked stunning in a musical Valentino Couture gown, but unfortunately the neckline was too tight and uncomfortable. It even caused her neck to turn red, which was quite noticeable.
During the 56th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony that took place in Los Angeles, California on January 26, 2014, Katy Perry was seen wearing a dress with sleeves that were too tight. The outfit was so uncomfortable that she couldn’t even strike a typical red carpet pose with her hand on her hip without damaging the armhole.
Katy Perry accidentally ripped the armhole of her adorable tulle dress. Nonetheless, the dress looked stunning on her, don’t you think? We were thrilled with Katy’s literal fashion statement at the Grammys! However, we thought she could have taken her look to the next level by pairing it with these amazing Miu Miu pumps featuring musical note prints. These pumps are priced at $675.
It could be argued that it was excessive, but Katy Perry really committed to the music theme at the Grammys by wearing a dress that fully embraced it.
